Code of Conducts

 

Changing Rooms

 

General

 

•Use of video, photographic and mobile phone imaging equipment is prohibited.

 

•Those responsible for minors are required to adopt controls and practices to ensure minors are protected at all times under the care of a responsible nominated adult.

 

•All changing rooms are single sex i.e. male and female. All customers should use the appropriate changing rooms provided. Family changing facilities are available for parents to accompany their children.

 

•Children over the age of eight are also required to use their respective changing rooms.

 

•Adults must not change or shower at the same time (using the same facility) as children. Adults should make use of alternative changing rooms or disabled changing rooms.

 

•No fighting, bullying, pushing or throwing other users.

 

•No running or tag games allowed.

 

Wet-side

 

•Parents/carer’s should not be in the changing rooms while their swimmers are changing, unless the swimmer is under 8 years of age or the swimmer requires additional assistance. In such circumstances the parent/carer must be of the same gender as the child.

 

•All users entering the water must shower prior to bathing.

 

•Use the toilet before entering the pool and encourage children to do so.

 

Dry-side

 

•No football boots to be worn in the changing rooms or main building at any time.

 

•Players and officials must not clean their boots on the side of the building, in changing rooms, in sinks or in the showers.

 

Nappies

 

•Used nappies must be disposed of in special bins for nappy disposal which are located in the changing rooms.

 

Code of Conduct

 

Sports Hall / Gymnasium

 

Arrival and departure times for bookings should be strictly observed. The start times of activities are on the hour and are 55 minutes in duration. This allows time for the next hirer to start their activity on time.

 

Those responsible for minors are required to adopt controls and practices to ensure minors are protected at all times under the care of a responsible nominated adult.

 

Use of video, photographic and mobile phone imaging equipment is prohibited except where permission has been granted by the Leisure Manager or the senior member of leisure staff on duty.

 

Equipment provided should be used for the purpose that it is designed.

 

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM THE FOLLOWING:

 

•Wearing outdoor shoes or black-soled shoes in the sports hall or gymnasium. Please ensure footwear is clean prior to entering the facility.

 

•Consuming food or drink in the sports hall or gymnasium. Water bottles are permitted but should be removed after the session.

 

•SPITTING on the floors or walls of the sports hall

 

•Using offensive language and behaviour.

 

•Consuming alcohol in any of the School premises

 

•Smoking in any of the School premises.

 

 

Failure to adhere to the above may result in the session being terminated with immediate effect and future bookings not being accepted.
